Task Transcription Services, Usetask.com, hires legal transcribers to work from home as independent contractors. Legal transcriptionists/ typists working for Task transcribes letters and reports for lawyers and companies associated with the California Workers' Compensation.
Are you Qualified?
Task prefers home based legal transcribers to have at least three years transcription experience. If interested in this job, you must also be able to transcribe at least four hours a day and five days per week. Unfortunately, you need to be living in the United States to be eligible to this job. For the technical requirements of the job, you will need the following:
Personal computer with a Pentium III or better processor
High-speed Internet (cable or DSL; dial-up connection not an option)
VEC Infinity foot pedal (other brands with a USB port may be compatible with our software; audition may be completed without purchasing a foot pedal)
